San Camp
On the edge of the Ntwetwe Salt Pans
Camps
San Camp is located on the shore of the enormous Ntwetwe Salt Pans, surrounded by tall palm trees which add to the beautiful setting. With only 6 en-suite tented rooms it offers an intimate setting and is an ideal destination for honeymooners. The main area consists of a bar, dining room and lounge area which offer panoramic views over the endless scenery. A variety of activities are on offer including game drives, visits to a group of habituated meerkats, a stop at the fallen Chapman's Baobab, quadbiking on the pans, cultural experiences where you are offered a glimpse into the ancient San Bushmen culture and even horse riding activities. Due to it's location the camp is only open 6 months of the year in the dry season between mid april and mid october. Access to the camp is best by light aircraft however self-drive is also an option where the car can be parked in a safe location and a transfer can be booked with the lodge to collect you (self-drive not allowed to the camp itself). The nearest international airport is located in Maun (MUB)
