Camps
Nxai Pan Camp is located on the western edge of the fossil pan and is the only permanent camp situated withing the Nxai Pan National Park. The camp has 9 spacious en-suite tents facing open grasslands, each has a lounge area, indoor and outdoor shower as well as a private viewing deck overlooking a waterhole. The central area has a dining room, bar, open-air lounge as well as a plunge pool. A variety of activities are on offer including game drives, nature walks, cultural experiences with the San Bushmen as well as a visit to the famous Baines' Baobab. In addition it also allows you to see some of the smaller salt pans of the region and is a great destination for stargazing in the dry season. Although not a first choice to see wildlife this area is known for it's huge Springbok population, Wildebeest and large groups of Giraffe. The biggest draw however is seeing the annual Zebra and Wildebeest migration after the first rains gave fallen. The camp is accessible by both self-drive and fly-in with the nearest international airports located in Maun and Kasane.
