Camps Mombo Camp is located on Mombo Island on the northern tip of Chief's Island within the great Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is shaded by large trees with a view overlooking the Okavango floodplains. The camp itself has 9 luxurious tented rooms which are elevated from the ground, all en-suite with a seperate lounge and extended viewing deck which has a sala as well as plunge pool. The main area consists of a dining room, lounge, bar, gym and small swimming pool to cool off on the hotter days. Activities on offer include morning and afternoon game drives, visits to a nearby hide, rhino conservation talks and massage treatments. Chief's Island is a great destination for guests who have a special interest in wildlife as the island is teeming with a large variety of species including big game, predators, antelope and birds. The camp is only accessible by light aircraft and the nearest international airport is located in Maun.
