Camps Leroo La Tau is located on the western border of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park rising majestically above the Boteti River. The camp has 12 thatched en-suite chalets, with an extended viewing deck looking down onto the river. The main area consists of a dining room, bar, lounge, curio shop, small library and swimming pool. Throughout the year Leroo La Tau offers day and night game drives, bush walks as well as cultural activities. Once the river is running you may also have the option to participate in a boat cruise. As the camp borders the Makgadikgadi Pans National park game drives are conducted both on the private concession as well as the park itself. When spending a minimum of 3 nights in camp a daytrip to see the endless saltpans can also be included. This area is particularly great to visit during the dry season as a migration of Zebra and Wildebeest travel through the region attracting a number of predators. The camp is accessible both by self-drive and fly in with the nearest international airport located in Maun (MUB).
