Camps Khwai Tented Camp is situated within a community run concession on the eastern border of the famous Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is set on the edge of a lagoon which flows into the Khwai River and consists of 6 en-suite tented rooms, each with it's own small verandah overlooking the lagoon and surrounding scenery. The camp was completely renovated by the end of 2016 and offers a variety of activities including day and night game drives, mokoro (subject to waterlevels), bushwalks and cultural experiences. As the camp is surrounded by permanent water it offers a relatively high concentration of wildlife year round and is a great destination for seeing big game, predators and birds alike. The camp is accessible by both self-drive as well as light aircraft with the nearest international airport located in Maun (MUB).
