Camps
Kanana Camp is located towards the southwest of the Okavango Delta between a mix of forests and open floodplains. The camp itself is sheltered by large ebony, knobwood and sausage trees looking over a a flood meadow and a series of palm dotted islands. The camp has 9 en-suite chalets, tastefully decorated and with it's own private viewing deck. The main area has a dining hall, lounge, curio shop as well as a swimming pool. Due to the nature of the location a variety of activities are on offer including day and night game drives, bushwalks, mokoro, boating, fishing as well as sleeping out on a starbed. The camp is also spectacular for birders with regular sightings of the Pel's Fishing owl and a nearby heronry, where thousands of birds come to nest on an annual basis. The camp is only accessible by light aircraft with the nearest international airport in Maun (MUB).
