Kalahari Arms Hotel is located in the centre of Ghanzi, the cattle capital of Botswana. It was the first hotel to open in the town in 1962 and underwent a complete refurbishment between 1999-2001. The hotel has 14 en-suite chalets, 20 en-suite standard rooms and 1 presidential suite to suit the needs of a variety of clients. All rooms have air-condition, television and a coffee and tea station. The facilities in the main area include a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, bar and a lovely swimming pool. The hotel also offers to arrange both game drives or cultural experiences with bushmen although this should be booked in advance. Ghanzi is located next to the Transkalahari Highway providing easy access for all vehicle types which is the main mode of accessing the camp although fly-in is also an option. The nearest international airport is located in Maun (MUB).
