Jao Camp is one of Wilderness Safaris flagship camps in the Okavango Delta and is located in the middle of the Jao Concession towards the southwest of the Okavango Delta. The camp is built under a canopy of leadwood and ebony trees overlooking the seaonal floodplains. The 9 luxury en-suite rooms are elevated several meters off the ground and are a reasonable distance apart spread across almost a kilometre from one side to the other. The rooms have their own lounge, a large verandah as well as sala and the main area offers several lounge areas, a library, small gym, pool, spa and even internet access. A variety of activities are on offer including mokoro, boat cruises, day and night game drives as well as the option to sleep out in a star bed. Access to the camp is by light aircraft only with the nearest international airport located in Maun (MUB).
