Camps
Hyena Pan is situated on a private conservancy approximately 12km north of the Khwai river between Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve and the Khwai River. The camp is built amongst a canopy of Mopane trees and overlooks the Hyena Pan which lies directly in front of the main area. There are 8 en-suite tented twin rooms which run on solar power, one of which is wheelchair friendly. The main area has a large dining deck, lounge areas overlooking a floodlit waterhole and a small splashpool. A number of activities are offered including game drives, bushwalks as well as a visit to a nearby underground hide which has proven very popular with photographers. Since the camp is located near a permanent water source the concentration of wildlife is relatively steady year round. The camp is accessible by both self-drive and light aircraft with the nearest international airport located in Maun (MUB).
