Camp Savuti is located in the western area of Chobe National park and is the ideal destination to explore the Savuti Marsh. The camp has 5 en-suite tented rooms built on elevated wooden platforms overlooking the the Savuti Channel. The Savuti Channel started flowing again in 2010 after a dry spell since 1982 and the region gained a reputation for it's large population of bull elephants. If you visit between April and May you may also be witness to the mass migration of Zebras which travel through this region attracting a number of predators. Predators most commonly found in this area include Hyena and Lion with the African Wild Dog also making an appearance on occasion. The accommodation offers guided game drives exploring the surrounding marshes in the mornings and afternoons. The camp is accessible by both self-drive and light aircraft with the nearest international airports in Kasane (BBK) and Maun (MUB).
