Camps Savute Under Canvas is a semi-permanent camp and runs in the style of a mobile safari, moving location every 5 days in accordance with park regulations. The rooms themselves are rustic using your typical safari style meru tents with an en-suite bathroom that has a bucket shower. The service level and attention to detail is to the same standard as would be expected from a luxury lodge, but with some added adventure of a more camping orientated experience. The camp has 5 rooms and due to it's unique setting in the midst of nature only allows children age 12 and upwards. Activities offered are morning and afternoon game drives and if your interest lies specifically in seeing wildlife the best time to visit will be in the dry season between June and October although a small migration of Zebra and Wildebeest do travel through the region between April and May. Due to the rustic setup amenities are more basic and no Wi-Fi, air-con or laundry service will be available during your stay. The camp is accessible via light aircraft with the nearest airstrip at Savute and the nearest internationals airports are Maun (MUB) and Kasane (BBK).
