Lodges Camps Khwai River Lodge was once the only permanent lodge located in the Khwai Community Concession and dates back over 25 years. The lodge was almost entirely demolished in 1997 and rebuilt to a very high standard now offering 15 air-conditioned tented rooms in total, 13 luxury rooms and 2 private suites which have extended viewing deck, outside bathtub and splashpool and are ideal for honeymooners. The region is a great year round destination as the Khwai river has permanent water and therefore offers a high concentration of wildlife throughout the year, although this does tend to increase towards the end of the dry season(September/October). Activities on offer include game drives, night drives, guided walks, birding, cultural activities and a spa service. As the activities take place within the Khwai Community Concession there are no park restrictions and vehicles are allowed to drive off road and and night adding to the overall experience.
