Lodges Camps Eagle Island Lodge has been operating for over 20 years and although the accommodation itself has changed to a much higher standard opposed to the olden days, the surrounding environment offers the same classical Okavango experience as before. The lodge has 12 tented rooms which are fully equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel including air-conditioning, which is a luxury in the Okavango Delta. The activity program at Eagle Island lodge concentrates on mokoro (dugout canoe), boat cruises and guided walks. In addition to this helicopter flights are also offered although the rates are not included in your stay (unless it's part of a promition). Due to the romantic setting and high standard of service it's an ideal destination for honeymooners.
