Jwaneng Golf Club

Jwaneng golf course has a reputation of being the most challenging course in Botswana. Situated in the Kalahari Desert, this 9 hole course plays out on mostly sandy terrain. Giving a bit of life to the barren surroundings, a stream running through the course makes for some beautiful scenery. It also creates an obstacle for the avid golfer, so do the clusters of trees surrounding the fields which act as barriers. It was built as a recreational facility by the Debswana Mine who still maintain it to this day.
