Nata Lodge is located approximately 10km south of Nata and is an ideal stopover between Maun and Kasane. The lodge has 22 luxury chalets, 10 safari tents as well as a number of campsites, therefore a good choice for larger families, groups and even campers. The main area consists of a restaurant, bar, lounge, curio shop and a large swimming pool. Guided tours on offer include visit's to the Nata Bird Sanctuary where you can also be witness to the endless Sua Pan (Sowa Pan). This area is of particular interest to birders once the first rains have fallen (roughly December to April) which attracts a large number of summer birds and also acts as one of the largest breeding sites for the Greater and Lesser Flamingo. Do note that during the rainy season the pan's will be filled with water and will only dry out from May/June. The lodge provides easy access to self-drivers in a standard sedan. Alternatively if you do happen to visit the area by aircraft there is a small airport in Nata as well.
