Dqae Qare San Lodge

Dqae Qare San Lodge is a small establishment owned and run by the local San Bushmen. Located in the Ghanzi district it is more about the experience than luxury, offering accommodation in 16 rustic en-suite rooms or at the local campsite. You can chose from one of the many activities including bushwalks, learning how to make fire, traps and craft, traditional fire dancing or ancient storytelling. The 7500 hectare farm is also available for self-guided game drives with the opportunity to see a number of plains game including giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, kudu and eland to name a few. Access to the farm is by self-drive only and serves as an ideal stopover between Windhoek and Maun.
