Itinerary
Day 1: Chobe River Cruise and Transfer to Savuti
Begin with a 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River for river-based game viewing, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and diverse birdlife, guided by a professional with refreshments provided.
After the cruise, enjoy lunch at a Kasane riverfront lodge, restaurant, or a packed lunch, followed by a safari orientation.
In the afternoon, travel by 4x4 safari vehicle through Chobe National Park to Savuti, observing wildlife en route. Arrive in the evening at a mobile tented safari camp, receive a camp briefing, freshen up, then have dinner and overnight in the Savuti area.
Day 2: Full Day Savuti Game Drives
Start with early morning tea or coffee, then embark on a morning game drive focusing on predators and large herbivore herds. Return for brunch and a rest period at camp.
In the afternoon, take a game drive exploring Savuti Marsh and surrounding plains, followed by sundowners in the bush. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.
Day 3: Savuti to Kasane
Optionally join an early morning game drive before breakfast. Break camp and return to Kasane in the afternoon.
