Motsana Cultural Centre & The Arts Cafe

The Motsana Cutural Centre is located an approximate 10-15 minute drive outside of the city centre, on the Shorobe road en-route to Moremi. It's a quirky small complex offering an oasis away from the hustle and bustle in the city centre. Motsana has a travel agent, arts cafe, what is said to be one of the best curio shops in Maun, a gym, health food store and even a hair salon & beauty therapist. They offer small events such as a Farmer's Market which usually takes place on the last sunday of the month, selling a variety of local produce as well as handmade curios and even a movie night on thursdays during summer. There is also a small theatre where local artists come together to perform whether it is dance or music so it's worth looking out for current events. Motsana is not a place where you come to enjoy scenery, it is a place to relax, enjoy a coffee and see what the local talent has to offer.
