Description
Experience wildlife viewing from an open 4x4 safari vehicle with a professional guide. Departing early morning from your hotel in Maun, the trip covers approximately 100km to Moremi Game Reserve, located on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta.
The safari lasts 5 to 6 hours, during which you’ll see diverse savannah animals such as lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, wild dogs, and numerous bird species. Trips run from mid-May to the end of September, starting at 6:30am and returning by 6:30pm. Outside this period, the trip starts at 6:00am and returns around 7:00pm.
Your guide will stop before entering the park gate for tea, coffee, and a light breakfast. Around 1:00pm, a scenic spot will be selected for a packed lunch. The trip includes bottled water, soft drinks, and a cooler box with ice for additional beverages. Warm clothing is recommended during winter months, and rain gear is essential during the rainy season from late November to late March.
After passing the Buffalo Fence approximately one hour from Maun, you enter prime Botswana wildlife areas for optimal game viewing.
