Description
Clients are picked up from their hotels or lodges around 5:30 am and transported to the Botswana border within an hour. After completing border formalities, participants board safari jeeps and enter Chobe National Park early to avoid crowds and disturbances to wildlife.
The game drive lasts approximately five hours, offering the chance to see lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and other animals. A buffet lunch is then served at Cresta Mowana, one of Kasane’s prominent hotels.
The day concludes with a sunset river cruise on the Chobe River. This cruise provides excellent opportunities to photograph the sunset, observe game grazing on islands, elephants swimming, and a variety of bird species along the riverbanks. The cruise usually captures the sun setting while on the water, creating an ideal setting for photography.
The cruise ends around 6:30 pm, followed by a return trip to the border and transfer back to the original hotels or lodges. Times may vary slightly depending on seasonal changes.
