Itinerary Day 01 Arrival – Boteti Lodge You will meet with our esteemed guide for pick up at Maun Airport, and be dropped at the river bank oasis of the Boteti tented safari lodge. Check in at the lodge and get some briefs about the safari activities over a refreshing complimentary drink. After that you will have some time for a quick lunch or dip in the pool while exploring the Lodges natural surroundings before you will leave on an amazing 2 hour sunset Mokoro safari on the Boteti River. You will have the chance to spot some wildlife with hippos and crocodiles right at the river’s edge while witnessing some of the most amazing bird life in southern Africa. After your Mokoro experience, you will have some time to freshen up and then join us around the open fire and absorb the magnificence around you while enjoying a delicious and traditionally prepared meal and glass of wine while listening to the calls of the night. (Different dietary requirements are catered for)You will overnight in a luxury safari tent. Day 02 Moremi/Khwai game reserves/ Okavango delta Wake up to the fresh air and calls from birds and receive brewed coffee or tea and some home baked biscuits prepared for you. Get a packed breakfast before an early morning departure on your activity of choice between a full day Mokoro safaris in the Okavango delta including a nature walk or a full day open vehicle safari in the Moremi/Khwai game reserves. (Different dietary requirements are catered for) Return for some refreshment where after you will leave on a 2 hour sunset Mokoro safari.(optional) Your long day on safari will end typically with drinks of your choice on the wooden deck overlooking the sunset over the Boteti river while the coolness of the evening sets in, discussing all the excitement and amazing sightings of the day. Followed by dinner under the stars in the open Boma. You will overnight in a luxury safari tent. Day 03 Departure A more relaxed morning after lots of activities and travelling giving you the chance to once again enjoy the lodge and its facilities after a bush breakfast, winding down before a transfer back to Maun airport or your choice of drop off point within Maun.
