Description
Day 1 Departing from the meeting point, you’ll head north for approximately 45 minutes by boat to Boro village. Once past the village, your boat will slow down for game viewing mode for the rest of the journey. Depending on where the campsite is situated, and what game sightings you experience along the way, the trip to the camp on Chief’s Island will take approximately 3–5 hours. Enjoy a packed breakfast and lunch on the way. Chief's Island is the largest land mass in the Okavango Delta. Because it is slightly higher than the general level of the delta, it never floods. The island is home to a vast number of animals and birds who benefit from the local habitat with close proximity to water. On arrival at your campsite the activities will include setting up camp and preparing for the night, followed by a sunset cruise. Return to camp in time to prepare the evening meal and sit around the fire taking in the peaceful surroundings. Day 2 After enjoying a wholesome breakfast, you will set off for the return journey. Enjoying the channels of the delta and game and bird viewing en route back to Maun.Includes
