Charter Airlines
Kavango Air was first established by Mark Smith in 2005, who had been operating aircraft in Botswana since 1990. The airline strives to keep safety its first priority, closely followed by punctuality and also ensuring their flights remain enjoyable for the duration. The airline has its headquarters in Maun, which is the gateway to the Okavango Delta and therefore ideally positioned to conduct both scenic flights over the delta, as well as inter-camp transfers to all the lodges in northern Botswana. Kavango Air's fleet consists of a number of GA8 Airvans (7seater), C206 (5 Seater) as well as C172's (3 seater). They offer air charters as well as medical evacuations to almost anywhere in Southern Africa.
