Lodges Thamalakane River Lodge is located an approximate 20 minute drive outside of Maun, in a quiet location next to the Thamalakane River and ideal for pre or post night's accommodation for your visit to the Okavango Delta or the Moremi Game Reserve. Accommodation is offered in 17 babbler chalets (more rooms are being added in 2018), 2 Kingfisher rooms (family units) and a honeymoon suite with a 4 poster bed, additional bath tub and private plunge pool. All rooms are en-suite and fall under the midrange standard. The lodge has a large dining area catering to both guests and locals alike, a bar, lounge and swimming pool. Activities can be arranged with the lodge who use third party operators arranging tours such as mokoro safaris, daytrips or overnight trips to Moremi Game Reserve and more. The accommodation is accessible by vehicle, no 4x4 is required, alternatively the accommodation also offers transfers to/from Maun airport at an additional fee.
