Camps Little Vumbura is located on a beautiful island surrounded by permanent water in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. The region consists of a variety of habitats including seasonal floodplains, permanent channels, open plains and riverine forests which makes an ideal home for a large variety of species. The camp itself is made up of 6 en-suite tented rooms nestled between a canopy of riverine forest looking onto the water. The main area has a dining room, relaxing lounge, bar, curio shop and swimming pool. For those who like to keep busy you can chose to participate in a number of activities such as day and night game drives, mokoro, boat cruises, walking safaris and even hot air ballooning (some activities are dependent on water levels). The region is known to be a great destination for seeing wildlife year round such as Lions, African Wild Dog, Elephant, Buffalo, a large number of antelope as well as birds. The camp is only accessible by light aircraft transfer with the nearest international airport located in Maun (MUB).
